Christ on a trike what on earth is going on here then. Cheaper than bag of pork scratchings. While the original is brilliant in it's own right, this 12" from 2003 takes it to another level and is one of Jazzanova's finest although to be fair they had so many good elements to play with. Them drums... give me the horn every single time. Another version that's worthy of your attention is the 'Funkhaus Live' cover the boys did with Paul Randolph. Firing.

A stone cold gem from the 90's that's had zillions of remixes that are all well worth checking out but the original from 1994 still shines bright. An incredible talent. An anthem that's about to get a new lease of life with the recent repressing of the rather large Sunship garage mixes. Check the original though for some pure magic.

Detroit's Dwele was all over the shop at the turn of the century and 'The truth' was one cut that seemed to be getting dropped by a whole swathe of djs. It still bangs and unfortunately like loads of stuff on that tip from the early noughties goes for next to nothing. Play loud and close your eyes.
